I tend to think that guys who can do this have telekinetic powers, kind of like Jedis, and just mentally guide the bullet on line of sight. At least that’s what I tell myself. 😉
Seriously, they say that Chuck Jaeger could see an airplane from 50 miles away and Ted Williams could see a bullet coming out of a gun. There are people with special attributes that help them to shoot well.

According to the quick math, he was aiming at a point 324ft above his target to lob the rounds in there.
Dumb question: with an arc like that, how do you even get the scope on target?
Wouldn’t it have to be angled downward looking through the stock and barrel?

Visual acuity probably doesn’t hurt…but I think the skillset here is more having an innate azimuth calculator in your head that really works well.
Still don’t get how you get a scope on the target when you’re shooting with that much fucking drop. That’s insane. Does he hold it sideways?
