Is there anything religion can’t make weirder?
American Family Association advocates killing the killer whale that killed the trainer. By stoning.
I wonder how long it would take to stone to death a killer whale?

That’s the new anti-gun meme. After a long time of saying the enumerated right to arms wasn’t actually a right, they’ve come around. Now, it’s called a dangerous right, nay, the most dangerous right. Joe disagrees:
I agree that guns can be dangerous. But it is far from the most dangerous right. I would like Mr. Henigan to do the arithmetic on how many people have been murdered based on the following books:
The Bible
The Koran
The Communist Manifesto
Mein Kampf
Short version: We don’t want to be at the center of your political hobby horse. But please buy our coffee.
Tennesseans don’t know who’s running for governor:
73 percent of Tennessee adults can’t name a single gubernatorial candidate when asked to list as many as they can recall.
In Utah:
Reporting from Salt Lake City – Long frustrated by Washington’s control over much of their state, Utah legislators are proposing a novel way to deal with federal land — seize it and develop it.
The Utah House of Representatives last week passed a bill allowing the state to use eminent domain to take land the federal government owns and has long protected from development.
Heh.
Anti-gunners to hold an appropriately named “lie-in” at Starbucks flagship store in Seattle. If you’re in the area at about 10:30, you may want to stop by. And take a camera.
A lot of Tennessee legislators headed out to the range to play with some fun toys. The press and politicos seem upset that lawmakers are dropping everything to go shoot various toys provided by Barrett and other local gun makers. Personally, I feel better when legislators aren’t in session.
Anyway, it’s another reason why we in. After all, the anti-gunners don’t have an anti-gun range or anti-gun show.
Change: Brownells expanding facilities by 37,000 square feet.
Also, Pete Brownell is running for NRA board.
Been noting how the recent rash of nut jobs seem to defy the lefty and media (but I repeat myself) narrative about crazy people doing violence being right wing, tea party extremists. Add another to the list:
Media Ignores Bomb Threats at Senator Bunning’s Offices
Just in time to get us back on track with the proper narrative comes the Southern Poverty Law Center report Rage on the Right:
The number of extremist groups in the United States exploded in 2009 as militias and other groups steeped in wild, antigovernment conspiracy theories exploited populist anger across the country and infiltrated the mainstream, according to a report issued today by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
Pay attention, guys.

Someone should do some training with feds who keep losing their guns in bathrooms.
The University of Tennessee is in the process of trying to ban legal gun owners that may also be athletes from owning legal firearms. Not just on campus but on their own property on their own time.
Is this restriction on a constitutional right for non criminal use off campus constitutional? Could it open up the state or the university to a legal challenge as to its constitutionality?
In Ohio, a woman finds a 28 year-old man in her 14 year-old daughter’s bedroom. Holds him at gun point for police.

John C. Lechleiter, President, Chairman, CEO and Priest-King of the Eli Lilly hates Indiana’s proposed bill so much he lies about it. And the paper prints it.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
