Offends people

The only decent response to such foolishness that I can come up with is, “Now don’t go off half-cocked!”

  2. ATLien Says:

I’m not as nice. I want names and addresses of the offended, and wish to deliver them ultraviolence. Such weak-ass people deserve nothing less.

  3. straightarrow Says:

Well then I suppose all those politicians they voted for who promised to “fight” for them should be removed from office. Oh wait, didn’t Obama say he would “fight” for his agenda? Change the sarcasm to wishful thinking.

  4. Reputo Says:

So when I go to a basketball game, can I say “Shoot it! Shoot it!” or is that too controversial.

  5. steve h Says:

There’s a bit of an overly race-conscious tinge to the “concern”, I think.

  6. comatus Says:

Look, I am not a basketball fan, so it’s kind of embarrassing to be the first to note that:

Pistol Pete Maravich was unavailable for comment.

  7. JJR Says:

Sports writing and Sports talk is inevitably going to use military metaphors, WTF? Competitive sports began as warfare simulation, after all.

Yes, there have been basketball players being dumb with guns lately and shame on them. But to those that are responsible and just exercising their 1A & 2A freedoms, good on them. NBA commish, et. al. need to get their jockstraps un-twisted.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
