Where are all the name-calling neurotic shrieking global warming religionists who accused everyone who pointed out this fraud early on? Yeah, about that.

Since the late 1980s, just about every year and sometimes almost every month, a group of people (mostly the same ones) have exclaimed, �Now in these latest (whatever) we finally have proof that there is no need to worry about climate change!� There is a segment of the public that has believed every new claim. The rest will continue to doubt such claims in the absence of truly solid proof.

Unc, the response to revelations that data was massaged (“brutally beaten” would be more accurate), methods were hidden to prevent discovery of malfeasance, non-believers were systematically attacked, and accepted scientific standards were discarded or “adjusted” to get the desired results matter not at all to true believers.

C’mon, you’ve heard it before, you know you’re gonna hear it this time.

One thing to keep in mind about the FOI requests, some of that data was subject to IP laws & agreements. The research that generated the data was paid for by corporate interests and they were not interested in releasing it to the general public.

IMHO, if such data is being used to justify radical shifts in social, tax, and economic policy across the globe, then such data should be public.

Don't forget the emails about "how to dodge a FOIA request". I haven't heard much at all from the "Sunspot Existence Deniers", but here's one that cherry picks one email and makes the argument that the high priests of climatology book-cooking were just speaking in code-words or something.
