Guns in Mexico

Feds arrest folks smuggling guns into Mexico. Not mentioned in the article: gun shows.

Update: I didn’t watch the video but Mikee says in comments:

At the very end of the video report, the reporter states that “gun show employees tipped off (federal) agents to some suspicious sales.” This is not reported in the print version.

At the very end of the video report, the reporter states that “gun show employees tipped off (federal) agents to some suspicious sales.” This is not reported in the print version. We would not want to make gun store employees look like the good guys, now would we?

Also, “.50 caliber rifles” with a clip of a Barrett being fired in the video report became “devastating 50-caliber sniper rifles” in the print report. Because the print version can’t have a video of a gun going bang, I suppose?

The byline on the video report and the print report are the same. I blame the multiple layers of editorial review in the print version for the biased slanting of these details.

    The media slanting firearms news?!

    Say it isn’t so!

All funded by “Methamphetamine sales” – another success story from the War on Drugs…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
