Media Watch

It should come as no surprise that Dan Rather wants the government to get in the media game. Of course he does. He’s a statist.

So, he’s saying that the best way to safeguard democracy is to have a fiercely independent press that is protected by the government?

Shit… There goes my irony meter. Done gone and busted another one.

He didn’t know that the press was already run by the government!!!!??????

A lot of people believe this, that’s why the MSM is having so much trouble. They chose to subsume themselves to the Democratic Party and so are no longer of value to democracy and free people.

Oddly, after years of liberal education, it turns out liberals don’t read all that much, books, blogs or newspapers. When you spoon feed your victims and discourage intellectual curiosity, you lose your market.

I read that “fiercely independent press” crap too. Funny thing is that’s how I look at the blogosphere… much more like our early “fiercely independent press.” Rather wants to protect the idiotic establishment of “professional” journalism. Tough titties for him.

Danny boy has probably gotten so many death threats for carrying water for the Socialists over the years that he feels entitled to Secret Service protection. “Why are you harassing me? I’m only parroting the lies that I’ve been told to parrot!”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
