The mainstream news media did its best to ignore and suppress his candidacy. I recall Tom Brokaw NOT even mentioning that Keyes had placed 3rd in the Iowa Primary. Steve Cohen. It's a sign for sure that the Ninth District Congressional race will be very, very ugly and racial.
