I wonder why the current SCOTUS candidate was selected then. In that she has stated a collectivist understanding of the 2A.

I wondered how many times Patrik Jonsson had to stop to wipe the tears off it’s keyboard before finishing that piece at CSM?

I don’t think that’s an appropriate assumption about Patrik at all, martywd. He was nothing but polite and fair while covering gun owners and Second Amendment issues at the NRA convention. There were no tears involved, just a journalist practicing his craft. I will say that in all of my experiences with reporters, Patrik stood out as very interested in finding interesting angles to the story and was very fair in all of our dealings. (You might recall he’s the same reporter who did the piece about pro-gun bloggers at the NRA events.)

@Bitter: I was wondering why ‘Unc’ had sent me over to that read? Thanks for straightening this old knuckle dragger out. From now on, the rule: Any snarky criticism of one ‘polite and fair’ Patrik Jonsson, who covers NRA convention’s and NRA member bloggers, is inappropriate. Ok, now I get it!
