anyone who knows anything about me,knows I am no great fan of the NRA nor their policy of incremental surrender while pleading for money from the people they are selling out. However, with a trademarked logo or symbol if they don’t protect it,they relinquish the exclusive right to it under the law. They couldn’t really afford to allow the university to use it.
However, they could have licensed the name to them.
