I prefer revolvers because I reload and I HATE to pick up brass. Col. Cooper once told me that he devised the reload drills as a kind of intellectual exercise to gauge a shooter’s ability to handle stress. He stressed that when using a handgun, a retreat was preferable to a reload. Of course, he also thought that a good bolt action was an easy match for any semi-auto rifle.
Say Uncle, thanks for the info. I also have been hoping someone would make a strip for .45 Colt, .454 Casull and .460 S&W and had sorta given up. Just placed my order. If you’d like a review send me an email in a week or so. Big revolver fan here! Forget that whole lexicon of names for various semi-auto jams (stovepipe, etc.) just get out that ol’ wheelgun and shoot and shoot and shoot. Light loads, heavy loads — doesn’t matter ’cause there is no spring problem. Want to introduce a new shooter – gallery loads then later in same revolver something with more authority. Yep revolvers are the way to go.

There it is! I have nothing against semi-auto pistols, I own one, and 2 revolvers, but revolvers are much more reliable and easier to maintain.
