Signed up on 3/24 and got my magazine and NRA envelope with membership card today! Woot.

Just a quick update… I signedup on 3/24 and today (4/7) I got a confirmation email from the NRA saying my membership card and magazine subscription are in the mail. There’s also an offer in the email to add another year for $25. Not a bad deal there!

So it did seem to work and truly be a free membership. Thanks for the link!

I signed up. No problems. Expect more junk mail. Most non profits make more money from renting the names on their mailing lists than they do in donations. I don’t think the NRA would be one of them but I am sure that they rent out their lists to the direct marketing world.

I did a whois and the page appears to be valid . I signed up , tho with a bogas phone no ( which i assume i can correct later ) and a valid tho ” spam or signup ) email . I included the mag subscription so if and when i see the mag ill correct the phone ( by declining to give such info , i get enough calls now ) , and send a years dues as pennance .

If the perks on that page are to be believed, it also comes with a free ticket to the Leadership Forum at the Annual Meeting. That’s worth $50 right there.

Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Dan Boren…lots of pro-2A speakers in one room. (Though, Blog Bash credentialed publishers won’t need the ticket – unless it’s for a guest.)
