All the makers of barrels, uppers, fire control parts, etc are sold out for the entire production run for 2009.

Buy what you can now, get the rest later or be prepared to do without.  You can hope that nothing happens in the 6-12 months you are waiting for the complete rifle.

Ideally yes, buy complete rifles.  For many, that is just not a practical option with the current supply situation.</description>

The gunnysphere, as I&#039;ve been reading and occasionally writing in it over the past 5 years, seems to think that any AR ban (AWB 2) would include all parts for receivers as well as complete sub-assemblies such as lower and upper receivers.

Most knowledgeable gunnies have been advising buying weapons AND parts against just such a total ban.</description>
