Can I say “what a waste”? The buttstock is the sight of the shotgun. Could anyone hit anything beyond ten yards with this thing?

I clicked the link and the diagrams were ridiculous. At the ranges depicted, there is next to zero spread. Get a pistol. It’s easier to carry. And less likely that somebody smarter and tougher than you will pull it out of your hands and beat you over the head with it.

I have a Defender, and while breaking it in, fired about 50 rounds of assorted high-brass hunting ammo that was outdated/illegal to hunt with, as well as some full-power 2 3/4″ slugs. It had been somewhat stiff of action when I started, but by the time I finished about 15 minutes later, the action was as smooth as butter.

The barrel got hot, but the action stayed only warm with all that concentrated firing, and I had no bruises leftover from the assault, which included emptying the 8-round weapon rapidly several times.

Having a full stock on a weapon which may be fired quickly gives the option of absorbing some of the recoil by firing from the hip with the butt in full contact with the hip. You can’t do that with a pistol grip only weapon.

Meh, just looks like a shotgun with a 50bmg rifle muzzle break. They should call it the “ear splitter” rather than the “road blocker”. I’ll pass. Rather take the recoil like a man than blow my ear drums out.
