What if they are AK-47 or a similar 'assault rifle'. Given that they can only be bought by .gov and they are being smuggled into Mexico, what does that tell us about the source of those weapons? Unless he can prove that a 'hundred' weapons were bought from 'licensed US gun dealers', he cannot confirm the source. But if he can confirm the weapon, and we know the weapon cannot be purchased from a 'licensed US gun dealer' unless it is by the .gov, then who bought them? (rhetorical question, actually. And a nice conspiracy theory - just for fun.) Let’s play with this a bit.
