Any good gun-grabber would say that if you live in a community that bans guns, you shouldn't have one in the first place. But if you <i>do</i> have one, <i>and</i> a situation arises where you either risk a fine or much worse, <i>then</i> you might as well use it and get caught having it, rather than not use it, and still break the law by having it.
