Maybe they really believe in the whole epidemiology of guns thing – might as well believe in the healing power of crystals. If they’re lasers and nightvision, I do!

I don’t know Rabbit, when I was Q cleared they went all the way back to my infancy and interviewed every still living person I had ever known.

When I listed my father as deceased, they came back with a rejection on the first application because i didn’t give his mailing address. No shit!

Some of those questions go further into background than anything I’ve filled out in recent memory, and I have a Q clearance.

On the other hand, our Dear Leader couldn’t pass a simple clearance check to work as a handyman at Lockheed. He’ll end up knowing more about any one of his people than We The People know about him.

I got the same impression as K-romulus, that the question was more about making sure they aren’t going to have someone that the NRA can jump on and use against them.

I saw that, but read the form as only being for high-level appointees. The gun question came across as a way to screen out the Carl Rowans in the pool (i.e., calls for gun bans but illegally keeps HIS gun, then improperly uses it against dumb neighborhood kids skinny-dipping in his pool)
