They targeted Musgrave because of her ties to oil interests, opposition to alternative energy and efforts to protect Jack Abramoff from investigation. Also, her opponent has a strong record as a conservationist. There's not a word about guns in their commentary on the candidates, and the organization recognizes hunters as an important conservationist constituency, as do many environmentalists.
