yes, Obama personally ordered the cops to get arrest this guy..pretty powerful, seeing as right of this minute he’s a Senator from Illinois. This of course compares to holding people without charges, torture, violating the Geneva Convention, signing statements, etc.

Having said that, you are right in that anyone should be able to go to these rallies. Though having said that, the cops generally have opposing rallies separated so as to minimize trouble, so in that way, I can see how they might have wanted this guy gone.
