Cyclic rate does not equal total rounds per minute unless you have a really long belt for your belt-fed. As if it mattered-- as if your rights are, or should be, inversely proportional to the firing rate of your gun. They'll do whatever it takes to scare the uninformed. But we accepted their premise a long time ago, with the NFA, so can we really speak without hypocracy? Who's being the more consistent? You or the antis? If it's acceptable to ban or heavily restrict a machinegun because of its rate of fire, is it entirely out of line to question other fast-firing guns? You've accepted the premise, so now there's nothing to discuss but the degree and specifics of its application. He even "bump fired" some of the rounds to simulate full auto.
