From my learning, the best course of action is to believe in their success, hope for it, and work their ass off achieving it.

I've had many conversations with people who say "If I had that guy's money, I'd retire - he's crazy." As best I can, I try to explain that he has that money because he loves what he does and the money is the secondary effect of the passion for the work. He'd do that work for free, but while he's working, he's planning on what he's going to use that money for in his future projects.

I've worked with a lot of financially rich people and they all have that trait - the work is the goal and it starts with a mental picture of what they want and an unwavering expectation of achieving the goal. Which means they envision themselves doing what many call "work".

But that word does not mean what they think it means....

Right, but we should probably mention that I stole it word for word from Terry Pratchett. :)

"Are you listening?"
"Yes," said Tiffany.
"Good. Now . . . if you trust in yourself . . ."
"Yes?"
". . . and believe in your dreams . . ."
"Yes?"
". . . and follow your star . . ." Miss Tick went on.
"Yes?"
". . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy. Good-bye."

I liked what Tam said after that. Something about, "Then they pull off Tinkerbell's wings..."

Yeah, you were right. Once she gets to know you well enough it just keeps coming out. Rob wins in quantity, Tam in quality.
