Our club always asks shooters to come with an unloaded gun, which I found to be kind of annoying, because I would have just showed up and shot my carry gun. But the reason they do that is because it's a good idiot filter. More than a few people had to go outside to clear a gun that was cased. Good lord! It's one thing to shoot a carry piece, entirely another to not know to unload a cased gun. Lots of people don’t seem to believe there are people out there that stupid, but there are.
