   Obama will be a life member of the NRA and the GOA by election time if he sees the writing on the wall on this issue as he has on others.

   In a stroke of political brilliance, he outflanked HRC with the Democrats’ left and blacks, painting her as a war-monger (promising Iraq withdrawal timelines, etc.).

   He has, of course, subsequently proceded to do an about face on key components of his primary platform (e.g. now he is for offshore oil drilling, but only if it’s done safely).
