Then we can get into a phase of investigations into how many Leftist-Anti-Americans have infiltrated our government departments and offices. If the Senatards (you like that-- "Senatards"?) don't back off, they might find themselves in the uncomfortable position of having to explain their own actions. No doubt several of them are a bit nervous about now, wishing Lautenberg would shut his pie hole.
