Although IMPLYING that the NRA instigated and had full knowledge of the infiltrator, their own article was very clear about the tenuous nature of the relationship.

I’d be willing to bet that, although the NRA may have suspected that the company had an insider, they didn’t have direct knowledge of it at all.

I could be wrong, of course. I actually kind of hope I am. I like the idea of the NRA pulling a coup like this. I’m just not convinced that they had it in them.
