Even the original MoJo article that outed her said that she was a freelance "security consultant" that was hired by a company that was paid by the NRA.

Basically, she wasn't an NRA mole: The NRA hired a firm that provided them with various services, including event security and intelligence gathering. The firm bought information from a freelance consultant who infiltrated the anti-gun lobby in order to have marketable information.

Although IMPLYING that the NRA instigated and had full knowledge of the infiltrator, their own article was very clear about the tenuous nature of the relationship.

I'd be willing to bet that, although the NRA may have suspected that the company had an insider, they didn't have direct knowledge of it at all.

I could be wrong, of course. I actually kind of hope I am. I like the idea of the NRA pulling a coup like this. I'm just not convinced that they had it in them.

And here’s your quote of the day from Bryan Miller:

In the battle of ideas with the gun lobby, we’re at a constant disadvantage because we’re honest.

Thank you, I needed a good laugh!

I see Miller aint in the slammer yet for that straw purchase he did in New Hampshire. What gives with that?
