People should vote their conscience. If Overbey did that he needs to switch parties and so does Kurita. It is strange though that when Republicans vote for (or with) Democrats they are “bi-partisan,” but when a Dem votes for (or with) Republicans they’re traitors.

On a national level, the “blue dog” Dems (like Heath Shular) don’t dare cross their leadership which means they implicitly endorse their positions. If they voted what they say is their conscience, we’d be drilling for oil tomorrow.

Did Kurita sell out her party or do the right thing and was bipartisan in voting for someone of the other party for Lt. Gov?

I wish that I could vote in this primary, because I would take Finney (who is an unknown quantity to me) any day over Overby for exactly the same reason you have stated.
