So, does that mean I have to stop using words like douchebag and butthurt?

Bitter on why a professional web presence should matter to NRA.

I should note that the offending blog is offering good coverage of the National Matches at Camp Perry.

  1. Bitter Says:

Keep using butthurt all you want, you’re not a paid PR professional. 🙂

I’m not opposed to the blog itself, and I would encourage them to blog the event. As mentioned in the post, I’m bothered by the fact that they so willfully check their professional standards at the door (you can post family vacation photos on a personal blog, they should not be doing it on a work blog) and refuse to use the free resources at their fingertips to actually make it look like the work of an organization with several million members that’s been working in the shooting sports for almost 140 years.

If we were to assign a 100 point scale for content, style, professionalism, ease of use, and relevant features, I’d give it about an 11. They don’t have to be perfect, but hitting at least a 75 wouldn’t be hard.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
