The fact that the majority of CCW permit holders are more law abiding is what matters, not the fact that some go off the reservation, or were never on it in the first place. I wonder how the Brady's analysis would go if they carried it to LEOs. For the 12 day period between July 5 and July 17 that would work out to about 542 murders. 3 of which are CCW permits holders. Yep, that scares the bejeezus out of me. So a whopping 0.55% of murders are committed by permit holders despite being quite a bit more than 0.55% of the population. Anyone got the approximate number of permit holders?
