She was mostly a b***h, though, and her family and boyfriend were also being generally impolite, rude, and outright hateful of gun owners in the beginning of the show

I'm sure there is just loads of compassion and understanding for anti-gun activists at the gun shows.

Actually, the reason she cried was she associated the sound of gunshots to the death of her friend.

So she said. I let most first time shooters have a .22 to start, and with a hefty rifle there's such a lack of recoil/report they're sometimes unsure anything happened. Using a more punishing shotgun just about ensured drama, and she was all about that.

I watched it last night. I got it on VHS and DVD, now. Actually, the reason she cried was she associated the sound of gunshots to the death of her friend.

She was mostly a b***h, though, and her family and boyfriend were also being generally impolite, rude, and outright hateful of gun owners in the beginning of the show. At least she ended up somewhat more educated by the end.

I caught it, and was a bit surprised, considering most of those shows involve rightwingers opening up to more liberal causes/beliefs. The girl annoyed me and the guy seemed like a bit of a loser, otherwise, good show.

I think the show is available on iTunes if you wanna pay 2 bucks for it.

I saw it. It was a bit skewed in that the pro-gun guy was presented as not having a life outside of guns, and he actually referred to his circle of friends as being of the "gun cuture". I always thought of that as an anti-gun term, not one of ours. I also thought it was a mistake that the first gun she shot was a skeet gun-no suprise she cried. Should've started her with a heavy barrel .22. I also felt that MUCH of her emotions, and possibly her backstory, were acting. She wouldn't be the first person to dupe a "reality" show in the hope of being discovered, though.

But the show could've been much worse. The responses to her "guns are for killing" retoric was not too bad.

She was pretty annoying in the beginning. A lot more open minded, well, as much as an 'anti' can be, at the end. I think one of the key moments that opened her up was meeting the gentleman who protected his family from a murderous stalker.
