K-Rom; Philly enacted a handful of gun laws, five IIRC. The DA flatly refused to prosecute any arrests made and reminded the city that the laws were in violation of state pre-emption, and would get the city sued.

Re: confiscation – does anyone have a link to Dianne Feinstein’s interview on Sixty Minutes? I really want a video clip of her saying “Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in.”

Don’t forget – this spring both Cook County,IL and Philadelphia, PA enacted “turn them in” bans on so-called “assault weapons” AND standard-capacity magazines. Both places are 100% Democratic governments (executive + legislature).
