		<description>There is no news here.  If a gun owner isn&#039;t causing trouble, it is not news.  If a gun owner is actually helping out, it is less than nothing.  You&#039;re supposed to ignore it.  If confronted with it, you spin it as a very bad thing.

I find it amazing how the perception is that an armed citizen responding to an immediate threat is going to cause unnecessary risk to life and limb, yet a cop responding will be all peaches and cream.  No bomb could possibly ever be detonated in response to a police arrival, but an armed citizen gets the draw on a perp?  Boom!  Up goes the bank.
