"The Shooters Party-initiated bill also removes the need to register guns made prior to 1900 and introduces more exemptions for people without a licence to participate at shooting clubs."

That's pretty cool. You can get some pretty good pieces that were made priot to 1900-- pretty modern by today's standards, even. Mauser, 98, Win, 94, an auto pistol or two-- not bad.

"Bryant is serving 35 life sentences in Tasmania's Risdon Prison, and will never be eligible for parole."

Might get stinky for a while, but after a while it's just a skeleton, some hair and some old cloth...

"Ms Rhiannon said the government backed the bill to gain Shooters Party support for its electricity privatization plans."

Awesome! Oh, and, awesome again, in that someone's contemplating the privatization of electricity. Man, Aussieland is looking better and better. Before long, if they keep this up, they’re gonna have capital flowing into that country like a tsunami.

Well, that came as a surprise. I could see this happening in the US, but not anywhere else. Good for them.
