What people can’t seem to understand, or WON’T understand, is that the Ghetto isn’t a place. It’s people. The same exact thing happened here in Atlanta. We were one of the first cities to tear down projects- for the olympics. All the Projects People moved to suburban neighborhoods and- lo and bohold! – the crime in those areas went up.

Funny how Africans and black from the Carribbean do better economically than the aforementioned socioeconomic group. Because they don’t have the same culture as the locals, they’re not bound by that same ridiculous culture.

But remember- it’s the white folks and poverty that causes all their problems. Even in areas where no one is necessarily poor.

Some more than others�for now. As that excellent link that CitizenNothing provided, it’s clear that what’s happening is that the socioeconomic/cultural demographic that we’re talking about is mobile, no longer restricted to identified and isolated pockets of the inner city. As they move, it becomes the problem of everyone in the surrounding areas. If it wasn’t, then our argument about owning guns for self-defense from the drug dealer/gang members wouldn’t be nearly as relevant.
