People who adamantly defend Mr. "Our enemies will never stop thinking of ways to harm our country and its people, and <b>neither will we</b>," don't really have a lot of room to talk. :) Call it what it was, an obvious verbal gaffe. The Auschwitz one has a few more legs, but apparently his great uncle was actually present for the liberation of a concentration camp -- just not Auschwitz, which was liberated by the Russians. The great uncle was at Buchenwald. Still, that one to me is the much more embarrassing slip. You can't exactly hide behind "Auschwitz, Buchenwald, it's all the same thing..."
