Receding hairline beer-and-TV-lifestyle-gut guy with a face made for radio is shown in commercials/sitcoms with a chic waaaaaaaaaayyyy tooooo hot for him who looks over lovingly but annoyed at his quirkiness. The message: buy this product or watch this show and a schlub like you can have a really hot woman with fake boobs and a 36-24-26 figure well into her 40s despite 4 kids and a full time job. It is a ridiculously common trend in advertising.
