"The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATFE), a relic of the prohibition days whose modern-day legitimacy is an open question, has been poring through the store’s sales records since at least 2005, looking for such “willful” clerical violations."

What about "willful" violations of the Constitution? Where are the millions of federal dollars being spent to investigate those?

Yup. It's only a part of that FDR legacy that's been dogging our every step for over 70 years.

It wouldn't be so bad if they could just take their FFL fees, push their papers, and behave themselves. Really-- we may get pissed at the DMV once in a while, for example, but we can forgive and tolerate them. You don't see the DMV going out and killing people, or shutting down car dealers. F-Troop is a different matter. I guess this is what passes for career building within federal agencies-- destroying people because you can, or because a Left-Wing legislator somewhere has a hair up her ass for The Gun Culture and you want to impress her.

Interestingly, it will eventually have been shit just like this which led to their final un-doing. The more "victories" of this type that they gain, the more evidence they're building against themselves.

And just so no one forgets:
