It's just that they seem to get caught more often, which is evidence (to them) that some are just better at it than others. That there seems to be one group that is calling them on their bullshit more than other groups are calling their bullshit, is proof of some sort of conspiracy. If only they could connect the dots, they'd have us. Alternatively, they'll invent the dots, invent the connections (Triangle of Death) and then believe in it all themselves. It's not that they're always lying, per se, but that they often believe in an alternate reality of their own creation. Now if you've read this and haven't already thought "Clinton" you've not been following politics for the last 15 years. And if the personality type is common to the two, as I believe it is, the other odd part of it is that although I've just insulted the hell out of them, calling them foolish and out of touch with reality, they would be glad to know that at least someone is talking about them-- that they're having an effect.
