read the ordinance that he is talkin about—it is baggies that are two inches by two inches or smaller — such bags are used only for crack or heroin–just like the old mcdonald spoons—at least he said it was a small step—but lets do it and stop this from going further and tell say uncle that he is just an idoit

They could get me for $4500 right now because I just got 2 new hard drives and a case fan, all had small baggies full of screws and jumpers. I bet I have even more of them in boxes from old computers too.

You know, Dirt, a whole lot of my fishing paraphenalia has come in just such little zip-loc bags. I find them quite handy. I don’t care about the other thing.

I’m tired of being inconvenienced, legislated against, and punished for shit I didn’t do. If the work and commitment necessary to go after the bad guys is deemed to difficult, then certainly should leave me alone.

The reason they don’t, is they don’t fear me. They may have cause to do so, if they don’t continue hammering me for shit I didn’t do.

Did I mention I didn’t do this shit? Let them bother somebody who did.

The bags they are talking about, the ones used for crack and the ones I’ve seen after a hip-hop or rap concert, are about an inch square.
Really small — smaller than can be used by a baby for a barf-bag.

They can usually be found discarded on the ground with a smear of whitish powder on the inside because it’s easier to get the crack-rock in than get it out.
I hate seeing them around because it means that the burglary and theft rate is going up in my neighborhood. I don’t want any of the crackheads stealing my guns.

Small ziplock bags work great as portable barf bags for children on long car trips too. When a child tells you he is feeling sick, rather than pulling over you can hand over a ziplock bag. When all is done, you just zip it closed & it holds in the mess as well as most of the unpleasant aroma as an extra bonus.

Some of the little plastic bags are way too small for a carrot or anything but maybe a grip screw. If you come across a teeny little zip-loc on the ground that’s about an inch-square you can almost guarantee that it’s a crack baggie.
They tend to show up in our Safeway (supermarket) parking lot the morning after a big concert down the street at Shoreline Amphitheater… Some are faintly tinted with color.

This aint new. When I was in the Air Force in th ’70s we were not allowed to have plastic sandwich bags in the barracks because they were considered “drug paraphanalia”.

So what’s the next thing these limpdick politicos are going to want to ban, bic lighters and matches because they can be used to light joints and crack pipes?

What’s even more idiotic is that all the druggies need is sheet plastic…. drop in a rock, bundle, twist, tie, rip. done.

Someone has been watching too much TV full of neat little tiny ziplocs of white powder. Or buying too much of it and a bit addled.

Oddly though, when I bought my Jensen JS-50 scale for the reloading bench there was a little bag of tiny baggies included… Wonder if they’ll hold measured loads for muzzle loaders?
