If I am to be in a wild area, I will be armed. That is one of the laws I will not obey. However, I must admit it doesn't matter much, as I can foresee no way, given my health, that I can ever again seriously consider the stress of things I used to enjoy. So my bravado on this topic is just that. In the interest of full disclosure. Should unforeseen circumstance place me there, though, I will be armed. Not so much say at Gettysburg, but definitely at Yellowstone and the like. However, again in the interest of full disclosure, the last time I was at Yellowstone, I was not armed. They should be all for it. It creates a government registry of legal, law abiding people who carry firearms. I thought that's what they wanted. Typical Brady BS. Guns are allowed in all sorts of places where people view wildlife, camp, hike and the like, and no blood in the parks flows there. Why should it be any different in National Parks?
