Whomever votes for the lesser evil still votes for evil. It´s going to be funny when the forum warriors start endorsing the person with R behind his name, but then they won´t be able to by law 60 days before the election because of the abridgement of the first amendment that is Mccain-feingold.

Back to the beach now...

The candidate who least deserves to win remains Hillary. McCain is a Mad Hatter, and Obama is an idealistic and naive socialist, but when it comes to dyed-in-the-wool, America-hating, left wing feminist, mother stomping, hammer and sickle tattooed on her ass, apple pie trashing, America bashing, abortion loving, gun hating, and lie to your face about it all while smiling, ugly - not hillaryous at all Hillary has them all beat.
So, if gun owners now have no one to support, at least we still have someone to oppose. I look forward to seeing Hillary's elephant ankle legs pointing skyward in a political cartoon as they stick out of the trash heap of history.
Still, McCain will be the one most capable of sticking it to us, with the support of his buddies the Democrats and the Republicrats. So I'm hoping for an Obama presidency with a conservative backlash reshaping the Congress that stymies any anti-gun efforts on his part. And I'm hoping that someone who respects freedom will kick him out after 4 years if he doesn't get educated on the issue and treat gun owners with respect.
We just lost the prospect of a potentially favorable presidency with Romney bowing out. We now need to focus on avoiding the worst two of the three, and we are really going to need to focus on Congress.

Ok folks, I need to decide who to support now.

Keep in mind that I was supporting Thompson - who dropped out.

In the MO primary I voted for Romney (just hoping to help get an open Convention). He's dropped out.

So, who should I bestow my kiss of death on now?

I cannot see Obama and Hillary being beaten by McCain. McCain is the media darling of the Republican side after vanquishing Romney, but I seriously doubt they will be the same way after the Dems fall in line behind Hillary.

There seems to be far more enthusiasm for the Dems this time around than the Republicans. Conservatism took a huge blow with McCain's ascendancy (and I am not saying that Romney is a conservative), and is unlikely to garner the conservative fire needed to win the presidency. I sure will not expend my time or money promoting McCain.

If he runs against Hillary, it should be easier for him. Against Obama, bet that beer on how soon the race card will be played.

Regardless, I am seriously thinking of taking Spanish language classes.

they both are happy to use their traditional base like doormats, and both will do and say anything to win…then claim a mandate.

In other words...more of the same. Yup.

Can you visualize how ugly the campaign will be between Hillary and McCain? Yikes! Neither of them has the tiniest bit of restraint when it comes to politics, they both are happy to use their traditional base like doormats, and both will do and say anything to win...then claim a mandate.

CNN says that the state parties determine what happens to them. I'm sure there's lots of backroom negotiations and bartering for that.

It'll certainly be harder on the Dems...Obama and Hillary will be busy beating the crap out of each other for another couple months while McCain coasts to victory.

If Bloomie tries to buy himself into the race as 3rd party candidate it might be harmful to both sides...interesting.
