(direct kel-tec clones have been on the market for years now) Anyway, if Ruger can make a better "p3at", then all power to them. The MSRP looks to be the same, and they've made some obvious improvements (slide stop, grip ergonomics, etc). And if the LCP ends up being as durable as Ruger's other pistols, then they have beaten Kel-Tec at their own game. I'm always concerned about the track record Kel-Tec has for a disproportionate number of small part failures after a couple hundred rounds. Sure their lifetime free support will fix it right up for you, but normal practice shouldn't "wear out" something that you may have to defend your life with. Heck, Smith and Wesson is making 1911's and Remington is making AR's. Everybody and his dog copies to some extent.
