I still have the first ones I ever bought. Only shoot about 3000 rounds of match ammo a year though. They don't seem to be wearing. They were old when I got them. This is why 2 tone pistols were all the rage 20 years ago and why today's stainless pistols are made out of slightly different alloys. Seeing as how the SS body is going into an aluminum receiver, with a synthetic follower going up and down it, propelled by a chrome-silicon spring, I don't think galling is a problem you're going to have. Personally, I think Magpuls Pmags are the way to go for a 5.56 rifle. But for a 6.8 SPC gun, Cproducts SS mags are the bomb diggedy shiznit. They've almost certainly coated the interior though. The lips will be more susceptible to cracking; but they'll also be stronger and less likely to deform.
