		<description>Liver cancer got my dad in his 50s, and that one isn&#039;t terribly pretty either.  On one hand, I&#039;m glad I got more time with him.  But, in retrospect, I&#039;d prefer to have had him go quickly and unexpectedly to having to watch him wither away over several months.

I am thankful that the leading killer of both men and women remains one of the faster ways to go:  heart disease.
