Photo is of a .22 Long Rifle, story is about a .22 Short. Just saying.

I used to vacume these up in my shag carpet in my room when I was a kid. They always went off with a little “pop.” You could barely hear them over the vacume. I’d find the ruptured case later. Never killed or gravely wounded anyone.

My favorite part is this quote.

I remember posting about that some time back. God only knows what kind of panic would have ensued if it had been a 22 long rifle instead of a 22 short.
