Jed, I agree that it’s making another “Only One” class but, unlike Miller’s definition of the phrase, it actually does create a “crack in the wall” that can be exploited.

Oh, cool, another class of “only ones”. This is outfits such as Wackenhut, I guess? Do they really “need” full-auto — that is, any more than I do?

Additionally, H.R. 4900 provides for the transfer and possession of machineguns by professional film and theatrical organizations.

Right. Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t most of these people advocate gun restrictions? The hell with them.

Otherwise, at first blush, looks like the kind of thing we’ve needed for years.

Uh, short of disbanding the ATF entirely, that is.
