Like Virgina Tech, almost all states have a prohibition against carrying on a college or university grounds. With regard to the permitted lady that stopped the killer in the Colorado church, that is one of the few states that allows a permitted person to carry a loaded handgun in a place of worship. Most states have laws that are too restrictive to provide the needed protection.
