You might be surprised and sad to know what goes in these stores. But, as you observed, much can be observed by the observant, particularly children. When my daughter was little, she had a reputation for finding money. Lots of money. On the street, on floors, etc. Kids notice things that adults are often too busy and preoccupied to notice.
