Registration

And why it’s a bad idea. Seems that, in Canada, the powers that be may start home safety inspections of gun owners. And they know where to look because weapons are registered.

but but only criminals who are doing something illegal wouldn’t follow this law! we need maximum enforcement of this law to protect gun rights!!

  2. Cactus Jack Says:

Any bets that these “home safety inspections” are gonna result in “public safety confiscastions”?

  3. Mugwug Says:

Where evidence is found of a criminal offence e.g., failing to report a lost or stolen firearm, that evidence will be turned over to the police agency of jurisdiction for their appropriate action.

Unregistered firearms, improperly stored firearms or ammunition and a host of other things are ALL criminal offences under the Firearms Act. I guess we’ll see in short order whether this is a massive state sanctioned fishing expedition or not.

    Taking bets?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
