I read that as a &quot;lies, damn lies and statistics&quot; quote. They may actually &quot;come&quot; from the dealer but if somewhere between the lawful sale and the criminal act the gun was stolen, I really can&#039;t see any way to blame the seller. I suspect that Parade is deliberately ignoring this fact so they can tell the story they want to.

If I remember my statistics right, something like 75-90 percent of all county murders occur within a mile of the DC border.
