Criminals should be arrested for their crimes.

Alternatively, we could arrest them for having stuff, sayig things, worshiping in certain places, being the wrong color, or for just making someone uncormfortable.

So, out of two certain felonies (felony or aggravated assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm), and a potential another two felony charges (violation of restraining order, and felony destruction of property depending on value of windows)…

They say he had too many bullets, which might be illegal, if the restraining order or psychiatric analysis fit specific profiles.

I like the South Bend Tribune’s typo — that the man wanted to “project” his property. Good to know his viewpoint’s being taken seriously. There was also no fertilizer found, despite the original warrant searching for such stuff.

Weird story. If it’s true, he’s far from the sort of person we want to be associated with, but the story kinda stinks of either horrible misreporting and/or a very problematic ex-girlfriend and associates.

Just shy of 80,000 rounds.

Violated a restraining order it seems, possibly shot out somebody’s car windows, and told his ex girlfriend’s boyfriend’s father that he should take out a life insurance policy on the son because he’d kill him or pay somebody to do it.

I thought the GCA only prohibited firearms possession by prohibited persons, not the purchase of ammunition.

He doesn’t look like a great poster boy for the gun owner side, but they should at least go about things legally.

Don’t ya know, with the police having an ammunition shortage, it’s a crime to have any more then you’d need to go hunting with. *tic*
