		<description>I bought my AR-15 SBR directly from Bushmaster.  Apparently if you have it done aftermarket, the SOT has to engrave a new serial number on the receiver when it&#039;s registered.  Mine has the factory serial registered, so no extra marks other than the ones Bushmaster put on there at the factory.  

Overall the process took a year, but about 6 months of that was the backlog at Bushmaster, and another month was for my county&#039;s Sheriff dragging his feet.</description>
